Last night my friend Jess and I saw Islands at Eyedrum, a local music venue/art gallery. The neighborhood was a little sketchy, but I really liked the converted warehouse space. Other than Nick Diamonds doing his best tool impression (white blazer? jumping on the amp? really dude?), it was a good show. southern comfort, indeed.
Now I know where that expression comes from - Atlanta is all about “comfort.” Take Fork And Screen, a movie theater that I went to last night where they serve food and drinks in a restaurant-style setting. With a full bar, I don’t think something like this would be very popular in the Northeast.
